This means you will first catch your horse, learn pressure and release techniques in the round pen, groom and saddle your horse before heading out on our trail. This ride gives you the opportunity to connect and form a trusting bond with your horse and appreciate the joy and freedom of bit-free riding. This is a walking ride only!

This ride gives you the opportunity to connect and form a trusting bond with your horse and appreciate the joy and freedom of bit-free riding… Wander down picturesque riversides, taking in the native flora and fauna the region has to offer. A quick dip with your horse as you cross the serene river onto an almost private and thoroughly scenic beach. Enjoy the rare opportunity of having the ocean waves crash around the horses hooves and view the spectacular coastline. An experience that is unforgettable and quintessentially New Zealand.
