I’ve been in the tourism industry since 2008 and managing our wonderful i-SITE here in Napier since 2013. Helping cruise ship passengers and other visitors to Hawke’s Bay discover our amazing food and wine experiences is one of the highlights of my job, as well leading a team of passionate tourism experts. I’m a keen walker and cyclist and can recommend some beautiful tracks - Lake Waikaremoana is one of my top spots! The range of winery cellar doors and restaurants throughout Hawke’s Bay is fantastic - they all have special experiences to offer as well as amazing local fare.
Giving an excellent customer service experience to our visitors and helping them to uncover the hidden icons of our city is my specialist area. I also ensure our team can deliver the full range of accommodation, tours and attractions on offer in our region. I work closely with local and national tour operators and love tailoring an itinerary to specific interests and have worked in the tourism sector since 2001. One of my local gems is the Dolbel Reserve with beautiful grassed areas, lovely views and gentle winding paths surrounded by native trees.
If you’re wanting to maximize your stay in Hawke’s Bay, I’ll find the right excursion or activity to fit within your timeframe and interests. I’ve been working closely with our tour operators since 2002 and have a great understanding of their product to help you pick the most enjoyable option for you. Cruise co-ordination is my specialty and I’m proud to contribute to Napier’s high rating in the New Zealand Cruise Industry. I’m also a good trouble shooter, and deal with a wide range of enquiries from visitors. In my spare time I’m hitting the wonderful cycle trails, with the Puketapu Loop being my favourite – a nice easy ride with stunning scenery.
I’ve travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I have worked at the i-SITE since 2002 and speak both German and French. If you’re keen on outdoor activities, rafting, jet boating, zorbing and tramping I’m your go-to person. I also specialise in accommodation – finding the ideal place for your stay in Hawke’s Bay or elsewhere in New Zealand. My favourite spot for a day trip in Hawke’s Bay is Bell Rock or Waimarama.
I picked up the passion for travel after living in England and Canada for 6 years and have been with the Napier i-SITE since 2006. I’ve got great knowledge of local events happening in Hawke’s Bay and am now enjoying working in our retail store. I enjoy meeting a wide range of visitors and helping them to navigate through the choices of activities available to them. It’s also satisfying helping find the perfect gift or memory for visitors to take away with them.
Specialising in tramping, walking and multi-day hikes both locally and across New Zealand, I’m your expert for booking a memorable experience on one of New Zealand’s Great Walks. Having worked for the i-SITE since 2008, I’ve completed many of the Great Walks myself and am a keen cyclist and adventure traveller. Whether it’s kayaking in Fiordland or enjoying our local Ruahine and Kaweka ranges, I’ll help you plan your outdoor adventure holiday. I’m a dab hand at hunting out accommodation too, especially for key events when availability is limited, and I speak some German, French and Danish.
I work closely with our suppliers and operators, ensuring the accounting process runs smoothly. I enjoy the tourism industry and have been working at the i-SITE since 2016. No day is the same with the summer months being the busiest time where our centre is a vibrant hub filled with visitors from all around the world. One of my favourite spots in Hawke’s Bay is White Pine bush, a great place to take a picnic and enjoy a walk among the peaceful surroundings.
I have been working at Napier i-SITE since 2018 and I speak Greek/Cypriot. What I love the most about my job is meeting people from around the world, from many different walks of life, who might need anything from a shower after camping to a helicopter ride! I love Hawke’s Bay’s cafes, restaurants, wineries, music, arts and culture – with nature walks thrown into the mix of course. One of my favourite Hawke’s Bay spots is Urban Winery.

I love trying new restaurants and wineries to find new recommendations for my customers. I enjoy meeting people from different countries and being able to learn more about their cultures. Working at Napier i-SITE has also helped me to learn more about what New Zealand tourism has to offer. One of my favourite places in Hawke’s Bay is Te Mata Peak – great for a hike with 360 degree views of Hawke’s Bay.
For customers interested in outdoor activities, water sports or snow sports – then I’m the one to talk to! Having worked at Napier i-SITE since 2010, what I enjoy the most is the opportunity to meet and talk with people from all over the world every day. A couple of my favourite places in Hawke’s Bay are Waimarama and Mahia.
Working at the Napier i-SITE is my first job in the tourism industry – having been here since February 2019. I also speak Mandarin and Cantonese. My strongest area of knowledge is food and wine. I love it that every day I’m learning something new, whether that be about the Hawke’s Bay region or something about a customer’s culture or background. Te Mata Peak is my favourite spot in Hawke’s Bay because of the Redwood Forest tracks that lead up to the beautiful views at the top.
I have varied experience in the Hawke’s Bay tourism industry, and have been working at the Napier i-SITE since early 2019. I am a specialist in local accommodation, having had previous experience working in that sector. I love interacting with new people, hearing their stories and learning about their cultures. My favourite place in Hawke’s Bay is Shine Falls. The walk leading up to it and the waterfall itself are both great and is something I would definitely recommend if someone has time while they’re in Hawke’s Bay.
I've worked in the tourism industry for 13 years and have been with the team at Napier iSITE for eight years. My work focuses on what to see and do in Napier and Hawke's Bay, making travel bookings, suggesting gifts and souvenirs, making food and wine recommendations and organising itineraries. What I enjoy the most about my job is meeting all sorts of people from different walks of life, hearing about their travels around New Zealand and giving them help and advice on how to best enjoy their time in Hawke's Bay.
