Yes we are doing it again! After amazing feedback from women, a nominaton in the HB Sport's awards and the incredible successful fundraising experience the 2024 Harcourts HB women's Tri is back on!
The 2024 Harcourts HB Women’s Triathlon will be another celebration of goals, challenges, and fun all with incredible support along the way.
This women's only event has specifically been designed for first timers. Even if you have never considered doing a triathlon before, this event is 100% achievable for you.
You will be in great company for your first triathlon and will be joined on the start line with other ‘having a go’ amazing wahine. There are also longer events for you more competitive types! You can enter as a team or as individual. We also have run/walk only options as well as Duathlon, Aquathlon and Aquabike disciplines!
The events can be done as individuals or as a team, so get your besties, your work mates, or your family together and dive in, take the plunge, put on your shoes, get on that bike, get training, get entered and we will see you at the finish line.
There are multiple different races with different distances and options that will suit everyone, from the absolute beginner to the seasoned athlete. We encourage participants from the age of 7 to 99 and all events can definitely be walked instead of running if that's how you prefer it.
All events are held under the watchful eye of the amazing team at Triathlon Hawkes Bay. So you know you are in safe hands!
All entry fees go directly to the Heretaunga Women’s Centre, so whilst you are out there feeling good, you are making a real difference to the women of HB. Great things happen when women tri together!
