Blue Elvis: A Tribute Exhibition To Fane Flaws
March 10 - March 24, 2023
at Arcade Gallery
Boyd-Dunlop Arts Precinct
Fane Flaws was well known and loved in the Hawkes Bay art community. He was often excited about new projects, and new collaborations. He seemed to channel constant creative energy. Flaws started painting when taking a break from music on Waiheke Island in the late seventies. He went on to develop a huge body of work and a recognisable style that reflected his vibrant, energetic personality. Flaw’s quirky and semi-cubist style positions him as one of New Zealand's most idiosyncratic and eclectic artists.
In connection with the MTG show 'Making a Mark: The Work of Fane Flaws' we are running running a pop-up exhibition at Arcade Gallery Blue Elvis: A Tribute Exhibition To Fane Flaws from March 10 - 24.
