The Royal New Zealand Navy Band in Concert

The Royal New Zealand Navy Band is back for the Art Deco Festival 2023 with an evening concert at the Toitoi Hawkes Bay Arts and Events Centre, 101 Hastings Street, South, Hastings on Thursday the 16th February 2023 from 7pm.

Under the direction of Lieutenant Commander Michael Dowrick, the concert will feature a variety of musical genres with an emphasis on 1920's-30's styles whilst featuring sections of the band.

The Royal New Zealand Navy Band is a full time professional military band whose key role is to provide musical support to the New Zealand Government. They achieve this by using diplomacy and community engagements to promote New Zealand's diplomatic interests within New Zealand and overseas.
