F.A.W.C! The Great Vinous Odyssey

F.A.W.C! The Great Vinous Odyssey

Traverse the Great Wine Capitals of the world with an immersive masterclass hosted by Smith & Sheth wine concierge, Jason Lambert.

Hawke’s Bay has recently been named as the newest ‘Great Wine Capital’ joining eleven outstanding wine producing regions around the world. In this two-hour masterclass we’ll showcase how Hawke’s Bay wine shines on the global stage alongside their counterparts from Napa Valley, Adelaide, and Rioja Alto.

Savour a leisurely afternoon, surrounded by kindred spirits who share your passion for fine wines. Sample our Smith & Sheth Chardonnay, Syrah and Cantera, alongside classic examples from our esteemed fellow Great Wine Capital regions. Complementing this tasting experience are artisanal sharing platters designed to enhance your tasting journey.
Prepare to explore a world of wine with a fresh perspective, showcasing Hawke’s Bay’s fine wine credentials in a global context.

Ticket price includes eight wine tasting pours (including international benchmarks and Smith & Sheth CRU and Grand CRU wines) plus sharing platters.

F.A.W.C! is a series of exceptional food and wine experiences set in stunning locations in Hawke’s Bay. Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C! Summer Series runs over March 15-24.
