Traditional Pakistan Calligraphy – Interactive Workshops

Traditional Pakistan Calligraphy – Interactive Workshops

Free cultural experience.

Join the Pakistan Association and Friends of Hawke’s Bay for an interactive traditional Pakistan calligraphy workshop. This offers a unique opportunity for local communities to engage with and participate in a cultural experience at CAN on Saturday 31 July.

To support the diverse artistic, cultural traditions of our local communities, a skilled Muslim artist from the Pakistan and Friends Association of Hawkes Bay will deliver a workshop and exhibition of Islamic Calligraphy and abstract art on different mediums, on porcelain and glass. You will work with acrylic paint on canvas and alcohol inks, exploring Islamic calligraphy combined with your own designs.

Please feel welcome to register and come along to enjoy this free cultural experience.

Saturday 31 July, at 10am and 11am.

You may like to also attend one of the Pakistan Music Workshops – check out Creative Arts Napier's website.

There is no cost to register but numbers are limited. Please book your place by emailing or call 06 835 9448.
