HBAF2020 Presents - Thomas Oliver The Brightest Light Tour

HBAF2020 Presents - Thomas Oliver The Brightest Light Tour

Hawke’s Bay born and bred Thomas Oliver will bring his new album, 'The Brightest Light' live to the Opera House. The album currently sits at 3.5 million plays on Spotify alone, and includes the songs, You Shine On Me, The Time In Tokyo, and Bulgarian Mountains.

A dynamic journey of song, led by Thomas whose magic musical touch has won him a Silver Scroll, the country's highest award in song writing, a top-ten-in-the-world finalist spot for Best Vocalist at the 2019 DNB Arena Awards, and the recognition as one of the planet's leading players of the Weissenborn lap-slide guitar.

His band features some of New Zealand's most revered musicians, so when combined with his emotive writing style and diversity as a musician and a fantastic light show, the resulting experience is captivating, dramatic, and unique.

The show will also venture into the world of Drum & Bass, for which he is internationally regarded as one of the leading vocalists. And, of course, Thomas will ignite his signature slide guitar and songs such as his Silver-Scroll-winning hit, If I Move To Mars.
