The Justice of Bunny King with Heretaunga Women's Centre

The Justice of Bunny King with Heretaunga Women

All our events are always LGBTQQIP2SAA inclusive. Men are welcome to attend this event.

Every September the Heretaunga Women's Centre celebrates Women's Suffrage month with a mix of fun and informative events supporting and showcasing women.

This September we are thrilled to be able have as our movie the amazing NZ movie, 'The Justice of Bunny King'.

Nibbles and canapes start from 5pm. The movie will start on the dot at 6pm.

Our movie nights often sell out in advance, so make sure to purchase your ticket early!

You can also purchase tickets online or here at the Heretaunga Women's Centre.

The movie, The justice of Bunny King is about a mother of two, a rough cut diamond with a sketchy past. While battling the system to reunite with her children, a confrontation leads her to take her niece Tonyah under her wing. With the world against her and Tonyah, Bunny’s battle has just begun.

The movie is directed by Gayson Thavat, written by Sophie Henderson and produced by Emma Slade - as well as the amazing lead performances by women actors we think this women backed film is perfect to show for our annual Suffrage month movie.
