Super Sixes Hawke's Bay Tournament

Super Sixes Hawke's Bay Tournament

Super Sixes is an established event on the national inter-school sports calendar. It’s a chance for your Year Six students to let off some steam and take part in their favourite team sports. They can socialise with their peers in the fun and exciting environment that is sunny Hawke’s Bay.

Super Sixes Hawke's Bay this year will be held on the 17th and 18th September at the HB Regional Sports Park on the outskirts of Hastings. This will be the fourth year that Super Sixes is going to be held after successful events in 2015, 2017 and 2018. 2016 was cancelled because of the water crisis.

Numbers have grown steadily to 700 in 2017 to 1000 in 2018. We have had schools competing from as far away as Lower Hutt and Porirua in the South and Wairoa and Gisborne to the North. We are encouraging schools from the Central North Island to attend to help continue to grow the event.

The sports that are on offer are netball, hockey, tag rugby, football, basketball, cyclocross, ki o rahi, and T ball.
