Under the Sea

Under the Sea

Students from the K Studio of Dance come together to present their annual recital, "Under the Sea".

Loosely based upon the story by Hans Christian Anderson, Aria, the youngest daughter of the Mer King, is dissatisfied with life under the sea. She longs to be with the humans above the surface but the Mer King has forbidden- all contact with the humans. Hopelessly in love with the charming mortal prince, Ernest, desperate Aria summons up her courage and strikes up a deal with the cunning and terrible Sea Witch.

Mermaids and Pearls, Sea Anemone, Rainbow fish, Eels, Sailors and Seagulls all get involved to help Aria make her wish come true.
