Sound Selectors presents Jake Rattler & Friends

Before the festival season is in full force the fine and talented Jake Rattler is taking time out of his extremely full schedule to come all the way to the Bay. He cant wait to come hang out and share his wonderful eclectic sound with you all.

We have joining him the fabulous Nixen (she smashed it on Dali day and Funk Soul Sista) along with local legend Shutter (B-Rad).

Be ready for a feast of deep, fruity, afro, funkiness, mixed in with a handful of organic house and techno joined by a dash of progressive with a pinch of breakbeat.
It's going to be a banquet of goodness you won't want to miss.
Tickets are limited so get in quick.
No entry after 10.30pm, don't be late!

Thanks to Sound Selectors, Fling Cocktails and Common Room

Jake Rattler:
Hailing from humble Waihi Beach, Auckland based DJ/Producer Jake Rattler can be found slithering through wilderness populated by speakers, decks and partiers throughout New Zealand and beyond. Fruity by function, representing NZ underground Deep House & Techno.
Played a variety of the best festivals NZ has to offer and released a bloody fantastic EP with Sanoi

Nixen:
Nixen’s sets take you through a journey of bass lines in many forms. Deep house, sexy soulful house are her favourites. You can often find her playing at her bar Fitzroy Lounge bar. A bass player originally, she has featured at festivals such as AUM, Pondarosa Ranch and is very busy heating up a number of Auckland Gigs during the year.

Shutter:
Brad Wyatt (Shutter) is fresh talent from the Bay. Shutter brings his own unique take on minimal deep/tech, progressive house. His explosive sets are highly danceable with a bass groove line. Whilst new to the scene he has impressed the public with his energetic sets & rhythm specially designed for the dance floor.
