Hastings Music Society Concert

Hastings Music Society Concert

Each month the Hastings Music Society presents varied concerts that feature a selection of predominantly classical music from local Hawkes bay musicians, singers, soloists, chamber groups, choirs, big bands and orchestras. These concerts are held March through November in the beautiful St Matthews Anglican Church, which is one of Hastings oldest category 1 heritage buildings.

Upcoming Concerts:

May 8th local musicians and soloists
June 12th concert featuring school students and youth, local musicians, soloists and chamber groups
July 7th local musicians, and soloists
August 14th Deco Bay Brass Band
September 11th Fours Company Choir
October 9th Bay Cities Symphonic Band
November 13th Commitee choice of local musicians, soloists and groups

The Hastings Music Society has been presenting concerts since the 1930s, over 90 years of gathering talented local musicians to perform and to encourage one another. The $5 door fee, or annual membership subscription of $25 allows the Hastings Music Society to give money to support talented individuals to further their studies and for groups to help meet expenses.

We look forward to seeing you at this month's upcoming concert. All Covid protection framework policies apply to the venue.
