Trish Dempsey has been painting for 20 years. What started as a love for folk art, has since developed into a love affair with Africa and the beautiful animals that live there.
Dempsey’s love for Africa all started with Elsa the lioness, who was adopted by George and Joy Adamson. This is a famous story, about how the Adamson’s trained Elsa, so that she could survive on her own in the wild.
Dempsey’s work is fuelled by her passion to help raise funds for orphaned animals and training dogs, who work to catch poaches in Africa. With an ever growing number of wildlife becoming endangered, Trish hopes to make a difference with her art.
