Drum and Bass fans rejoice, as WILKINSON has been approved to tour the country in May 2021, taking his high energy show and back catalogue of bangers to Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and the Hawkes Bay.
Over the past 10 years, Wilkinson has cemented himself as one of the most influential and pioneering figures in drum and bass history with hit singles such as; "Take You Higher", "Illuminate" and "Afterglow", topping charts worldwide and becoming a frequent producer of some of the most recognisable electronic dance songs of all time.
After ditching the guitar for a sequencer at 14, the rest was history for Wilkinson. A production class at college led to sending demos to some of the finest producers in England. Since then he’s released music on Hospital, RAM and Virgin records toured the globe, including frequent headline performances in New Zealand at Auckland’s Hidden Valley and Gisborne’s Rhythm and Vines.
Wilkinson hinted at his New Zealand tour in front of 25,000 in attendance at Rhythm and Vines, during their infamous countdown video at Rhythm and Vines. And with a newly released single “Frontline”, Kiwis can expect the old mixed with the new when Wilkinson hits town.
Wilkinson will be supported with his trusty MC Ad-Apt, with a flurry of Kiwi Drum and Bass support acts to be announced. The show is presented by Endeavour Live, Live Nation, and is proudly supported by Part Time Rangers.
