Dazzle Ball - WD21

Dazzle Ball - WD21

Over 100 years ago at the very beginning of the 1920s, the Chelsea Arts Club held a monumental costume party, The Dazzle Ball, at Royal Albert Hall in London to celebrate the world’s emergence from the global crisis that was the Great War. At the very beginning of the 2020s, as the world emerges from the global crisis that is COVID 19, it feels right that we hold another monumental costume party. This time at the other end of the world in Napier where The Art Deco Trust and The Metropolitan Club invite you to celebrate the good times we believe are on the horizon with our very own “Dazzle Ball”.

Guests will enjoy live music from one of New Zealand’s top big bands, The Royal New Zealand Air Force Jazz Orchestra, theatrical performances throughout the evening including performances from the Encore Deco Dancers, and the opportunity to win incredible prizes for the best dressed.

Tickets include complementary Mission Estate bubbles on arrival, canapés and walk and fork substantial Art Deco themed fare coupled with an evening of magical entertainment, this is one event not to be missed. Dress in your vintage-inspired best and make sure you dazzle!
