Waiapu Cathedral Earthquake Strengthening Fundraiser
The inaugural Cathedral Christmas Fair is to be a combination of art and craft and premium product stalls run by commercial stallholders, sitting alongside traditional fair stalls run by Cathedral volunteers.
The idea is to create a post-Covid community celebration, prior to Christmas. The event is a fundraiser for earthquake-strengthening repairs to Napier Cathedral.
Browning Street will be closed to traffic for the day. The Cathedral-run volunteer stalls will include the ever-popular drawcards such as home baking and produce, raffles, games of chance, bouncy castles, face painting, DVDs, tombola and much much more.
There will also be a Food Court area, a Kids Zone, Street Entertainers and Live entertainment.
The event is intended as fun for the whole family, as well as an exciting market venue for all your Christmas gifts and seasonal fare.
This will be a pre-Christmas event like no other!
