This year sees the return of the Hawke’s Bay Art Trail, a revitalised weekend of art indulgence, offering a rare glimpse into the studio spaces of the region’s creatives, artists and designers that are listed in the Hawke’s Bay Art Guide. Tour the region, stop off and visit the artists and galleries, enjoy a winery lunch... the weekend is yours to enjoy and what better way to do it!
Brought to you by Creative Arts Napier and Arts Inc. Heretaunga, the Hawke’s Bay Art Trail is your opportunity to tour Napier and Hastings, and beyond into rural Hawke’s Bay, to be inspired and intrigued by our creatives and their studios. The doors will be flung open and the public welcomed inside to these sometimes very private spaces, uncovering the processes behind the work that is created inside.
Artists will be in their spaces displaying and selling work over Easter weekend from 10am – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday 24 & 25 October. There will be demonstrations and inspiring creative workshops to sign up for. Look out for the additional ‘pop-up’ style galleries too.
Give yourself, your friends and your family an enriching experience by keeping an eye out for other, associated Art Trail events at Labour weekend. Grab hold of a Trail Map and Hawke’s Bay Arts Guide from Creative Arts Napier or Arts Inc. Heretaunga or download a map from the website www.hawkesbayartguide.co.nz during the week before the event, and make a weekend of it!
