Speld NZ’S two-day introductory course is for you!
Our Level 3 NZQA-approved Introduction to Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) course gives great insights into what it’s like to have an SLD and why SLD occurs. It also offers constructive, practical strategies to help these learners in the classroom and at home.
This is a two-day course open to all. It runs from 9am to 3.30pm and includes a lunch break. You need to attend both days.
No prior qualifications are required to enrol. A certificate is issued on completion of the course.

This is an introductory course, suitable for those who have limited or no knowledge about SLD.
It gives insights into why specific learning disabilities occur, what it is like to have dyslexia or other SLD and offers strategies for helping these learners in the classroom and at home.
