5Rhythms Workshop Series 2019

5Rhythms Workshop Series 2019

5Rhythms is a dynamic movement practice, created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced around the world as a vehicle to enhance health and vitality and bring about real and lasting changes. It is an embodiment practice that ignites creativity, connection, and community. It is a simple process that anyone can do, yet facilitates deep and unending explorations, moving the dancer beyond self-imposed limitations and isolation into new depths of creativity and connection.

This is a series of five workshops which can be attended individually or as a complete set. In these workshops we will explore the metaphor and medicine of each rhythm as we take on the creative task and discover the unique power each has to offer. The workshop themes are:

16th Feb: My Body, My Ground
23rd March: My Heart, My Expression
27th April: My Mind, My Intuition
25th May: My Soul, my Offering
29th June: My Spirit, My Integrity

No previous experience is necessary. Just come along with a willingness to move. Everyone welcome.

Workshops facilitated by Alex Rodriguez, certified 5Rhythms Teacher.
