Kohua Maori Art

Kohua Maori Art

Thanks to the assistance of Iwi Toi Kahungunu - Maori Artists, the CHB Museum presents an art exhibition showcasing local contemporary indigenous art supporting the importance of Maori Arts and honouring Te Tiriti of Waitangi.

Maori Culture generates assets contributing to the social, environmental and economic wellbeing of Maori communities.

This exhibition creates another purpose for the museum to help keep it relevant, living and adapting to serve the local community.
