Vintage Car Parade

Vintage Car Parade

Sponsored by Progressive Meats In 2021 the feature group is Veteran cars, 100 years or older. We expect at least 50-60 including many never seen before at the Festival. To recognise the 90th anniversary of the 1931 Napier Earthquake the HBVCC has invited a number of vehicles that were in Napier and survived the 1931 Earthquake.

Also invited are first response vehicles such as fire engine, ambulance, military, police that gave assistance following the EQ. We would like to offer special thanks to the Hawke’s Bay Vintage Car Club who arrange for these incredible vehicles to attend the Festival.

The vintage cars will crawl from Clive Square to Marine Parade via Lower Emerson St and Upper Emerson St, finishing at the Napier Sound Shell. Public viewing of cars from approx. 2:00pm on Marine Parade.

Entry into the parade is limited to 300 event registered cars only. Pre 1946 criteria apply.

Registration Fee includes car parade entry plus security patrolled parking in the Festival area from 6 pm Friday until 6 pm Sunday.

Entries online at or please call 0508 484 253.  Registration Requirements
