Wallingford Spring Writing Retreat

Wallingford Spring Writing Retreat

The Wallingford Spring Writing Retreat is an exclusive weekend workshop where you are invited to discover your inner writer whilst surrounded by nature, beauty and other like-minded people.

Join internationally renowned poet and performer Sara Hirsch for an indulgent two-day creative experience with an unforgettable Hawke’s Bay backdrop. This immersive retreat is open to anyone, whether you’re an experienced writer looking for a quiet spot to generate some pages or a complete novice interested in exploring something new.

There will be opportunities to write in response to prompts, memories and the gorgeous surroundings, attend a private performance from the host poet, get some personal feedback on your work and spend time enjoying everything Wallingford has to offer. This retreat is perfect for anyone looking for a getaway that gives guests something a little different.

All foodie offerings, prepared by the much lauded chef Chris Stockdale, are included in the package, so for those you who want to indulge your taste buds, pen a thought or two in the sun and laze the day away, this would be a neat getaway.
