Deco Bus Tour

$60.00 per person, 90 minutes duration

Departs at 10.30 am and 2 pm daily

Experience The Daily Deco Tour for an insight to how Napier City became the ART DECO CAPITAL of the world. This comprehensive 90 min tour takes you on an historic timeline, sharing stories and showcasing the transformation how Napier City and it's people were resilient after the infamous 1931 Hawkes' Bay Earthquake, rebuilding the city they love in a fabulous and stylish 'time warp' Art Deco!

This original and official tour is the only Deco Bus Tour endorsed by the Art Deco Trust. All guides are local and fully trained Art Deco guides.

Your tour begins in the Art Deco Quarter before heading to Bluff Hill for views over reclaimed land exposed by the 1931 Earthquake. Visiting historic Ahuriri and the iconic National Tobacco Building, we continue to the 1930s Art Deco Suburb of Marewa for home and gardens, returning to Marine Parade and the Art Deco Trust Gallery.
